About Us

Established in 1945, The Campus Lantern is the student-run campus newspaper for Eastern Connecticut State University. We publish bi-weekly, with issues coming out every other Thursday.

The Campus Lantern has four sections: News, Opinion, Arts & Entertainment, and Sports. We also have an Expressions section for creative writing, poetry, art, and photography.

Our meetings are every Wednesday at 3:00 pm in the SGA Suite (downstairs in the student center) where we discuss articles ideas, have food, and discuss ideas for the club such as apparel. We also vote on the best article of each issue, excluding articles written by editors, the winner of which receives a $50 gift card. Newcomers are always welcome to stop by!

If you would like to have your piece published in the paper, please contact any of our staff below. Submissions (excluding Expressions) should be between 350 and 750 words, with no formatting requirements.
